3D Mammography at Campsie, Norwest and Rouse Hill

3D mammography

Comfort for our patients, Confidence for our technologists and Clarity for our radiologists.

Synergy Radiology’s newly acquired state of the art GE 3D Tomosynthesis machines, are reshaping your mammography experience and are available now at our Campsie medical imaging, Norwest medical imaging and Rouse Hill medical imaging practices.

The GE Senographe PristinaTM utilises breast tomosynthesis (3D mammography), an innovative technique where a series of images are captured to create a 3D picture of the breast. This allows our radiologists to report with precision, as these images clarify abnormalities in the tissue which may otherwise be difficult to visualise.

During your mammogram, both 2D and 3D images are obtained with the machine moving in a 15-degree arc to capture the 3D tomosynthesis of the breast. Our mammographers will ensure that patient comfort is priority during the entire examination.

The GE Senographe Pristina TM has the lowest patient dose of all FDA approved tomosynthesis systems, delivering advanced image quality and superior diagnostic accuracy.

A mammogram is a life-saving tool used by doctors to determine the presence and location of lesions in breasts. It is imperative that both women and men continually check their breasts and visit their doctors if any changes occur.

If you would like to make a booking for a 3D tomosynthesis mammogram, please call us at our Norwest, Campsie or Rouse Hill sites on 1300 339 729,  9789 3033  or 8602 5400 or request an appointment here.

ANZAC Day 2020

ANZAC Day, April 25, is an important day for all of us fortunate enough to call Australia home. It is a day that we as a nation express our gratitude to the servicemen and women who served our country in war and peacekeeping.

While COVID-19 has transformed the way we will commemorate the day, it won’t stop us from paying tribute to those who deserve our recognition.

This Saturday, at 6.00 am, our people will join our fellow Australians, as we stand at the end of our driveways or on our balconies in remembrance of the service and sacrifice. For it is they who made this “the lucky country.” Our sites will not be open on this day as we pay our respects.

Lest we forget.
